Lwasa Ludo - Privacy Policy

Lwasa Ludo is developed by Pulse Generation UG ("we", "us"). This page explains what information the app collects and why. The short version: playing offline collects nothing; the optional online play needs a small account.

1. Playing offline

All offline modes (Classic, Quick, Pass & Play, Team Battle, Blitz, Custom) work without an account and without the internet. Nothing about you or your offline games is sent to us or to anyone else. The game keeps these things in the app's private storage on your device only:

• your chosen player name and avatar,
• your settings (sound, timer, computer level, chosen dice and board),
• your statistics, match history, trophies, coins and level,
• a saved match, if you choose to continue one later.

You can erase it at any time from Settings → Reset all progress, or by uninstalling the app.

2. Playing online (optional)

If you choose Play online, you create an account with an e-mail address and a password. We then store, on our cloud service (Supabase, servers operated for Pulse Generation UG):

• your e-mail address (to sign you in; it is never shown to other players),
• the display name you choose (shown to the players at your table and on the leaderboard),
• your online games, wins, coins, owned dice skins and emote packs,
• the online tables you join and the moves played in them (the server referees every game),
• the chat messages and emotes you send at a table (only the players at that table can read them),
• when you were last online, your device type (Android / Windows) and app version,
• reports you send about another player, or reports about you.

We use this information only to run online play: sign-in, matchmaking, refereeing games, the leaderboard, keeping chat safe and answering reports. We do not sell it, share it for advertising or use it for anything else. There is no advertising and no third-party analytics.

3. Chat safety and moderation

Typed messages are limited to 120 characters, common offensive words are filtered automatically, and the number of messages per minute is limited. Everyone accepts the community rules (no insults, harassment, hate or spam) when creating an account. You can report or block a player from the table chat; a blocked player's messages are hidden on your device (unblock them in Settings → Privacy & safety). We review reports within 24 hours. Pulse Generation UG may read the chat of a reported table and may block an account that breaks the rules. Never share personal information (phone number, address) in chat.

4. Deleting your online account

In Play online → ⋮ → Delete account you can permanently delete your account at any time. This removes your e-mail address, profile, coins, items and chat messages from our cloud. Finished-game records keep only an anonymous winner reference. You can also ask us to delete it by e-mail (see below) or at pulsegenerationug.com/delete-account; we complete such requests within 30 days. Lwasa Ludo runs on Android, Windows, iPhone, iPad and Mac.

5. Payments

Lwasa Ludo is completely free. There are no in-app purchases and no real-money transactions. Coins are earned only by playing and cannot be bought or exchanged.

6. Security

Connections to our cloud are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are handled by the sign-in service and are never visible to us. Access rules on the server make sure each player can only read their own private data and the tables they play at.

7. Children

Offline play collects no personal information and is suitable for all ages. Online play lets you chat with other players, so it is intended for players aged 13 and over. If you believe a child under 13 created an online account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Links

The About screen contains links to our website and social media pages. Tapping one opens it in another app (for example your browser), which has its own privacy policy.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
