At the doctor’s office, PulseHMIS calculates BMI the moment weight and height are entered, so the number is always right, even at the end of a long shift.
- Prescriptions do the maths too. Quantities are calculated from strength, frequency and duration, with the working shown.

Every station in sync, inside your building.
One computer is the Host. Every other computer, tablet or phone is a Client on your own WiFi or wired network. The internet is never involved.
- Saved locally first. Every change is written to the device instantly, then pushed to the Host in the background without freezing the screen.
- Revision numbers, not clocks. Only the Host assigns revisions, so a newer edit is never lost because two computers disagree on the time.
- Light on your network. Clients ask “anything new?” every few seconds and only download compressed data when something changed.
- Resilient. If the Host is unreachable, clients keep working from their last copy. A single bad record can’t break sync for everyone.
- Add a computer in minutes. Install, point it at the Host, and the full history arrives within one sync cycle.

PulseHMIS questions
Which computer should be the Host?
Usually the front-desk or administrator’s Windows PC, because it is switched on most of the day. Any platform can be the Host, and a single-computer clinic can simply run Standalone.
What happens if the Host computer breaks?
Restore your latest backup (a readable JSON file in Documents › Backups, easy to copy to a USB drive) onto the new computer and set it as Host. Clients keep working from their last copy in the meantime.
How do we pay for a subscription?
MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, Visa/Mastercard or bank transfer. You can also pay directly and send proof on WhatsApp with your Device ID; we reply with an activation key that works fully offline.
Can we correct a past visit?
Yes. Administrators and Doctors can open any visit from the Patient Record Hub and edit details, consultation, lab results or billing at any stage. Every change is kept in the audit history.
Do insurance patients see our internal prices?
No. For insurance patients, printed documents show only “Payment Method: Insurance (Company)”, never an itemised internal price list.
